I bought the filter, but was not a good fit for my tap water sprayed because it is everywhere. I tried to return, but because it is a replacement cartridge you need for the return even if it was not used (they pay for the return of the filter, you only pay not the replacement cartridge). I tried to explain when I’m back to the filter, then I do not need a replacement filter. My advice, do not buy the replacement until you know the filter works with your faucet.
I have returned / exchanged for almost a half-dozen Brita on-tap systems because they do not seem to access my tap with something much pressure stay prepared sprayed me with water to get to how the filter will fly away. It’s all because of how the Brita is screwed onto the faucet, all plastic parts, that is all threading is plastic. Plus, to make it even worse, the threading was very flat so that it does not lock in well at all, it is not surprising that every little amount of water pressure, it can really pop off. I also saw in PU, but it also has a plastic-threaded system, so I do not even both to try to help them. So for the past year or so, I save drinking water by the gallon, and if I need to fill again, I would re-attach the Brita filter and my water running very slow …. a pain in the @ ss to say, the mindestens.
I ‘m so glad I stumbled on this faucet filtration system. Too bad big stores like Target do not carry that brand, or I would have bought it had long ago. to thank God for Amazon. As soon as I saw the all-metal connectors, I knew this is my solution. I quickly skimmed through the reviews and confirmed it uses metal adapter, and I bought it without hesitation. Two days later, the filter shows up at my door step (I LOVE PRIME!) And I installed it immediately. I have a no-frills Kohler faucet and the adapter fits perfectly. Culligan offers the same size adapter, bietet.
The Brita water tastes fine, I could not tell the difference from the Brita. The reason why I only gave it 4 stars because the filtration is somewhat slow and there is no show internal LED’s to it’s time to fly is no longer the filter to ändern.
PROS:
-metal adapter … Filters and wet faces (I hate you Brita!)
-Cheaper than Brita and PUR
Where-the taste quality as Brita
CONS:
flow-SLOW water. No matter how hard I think to the tap, the water flow from the filter in turn remains the gleiche.
no internal filter life indicator in the LED light in Brita
filters are not carried out in the big chains, not the big thing as I have all my things Buy at Amazon anyway.
I love … I did not carry the water Galun more. It is easy to isntal & it works great.
I am a Culligan water filer owner so I buy these replacement filters for them. Our water tastes good. We save a lot of money does not buy bottled water. I think Culligan is the best. PUR water filter we have three possessions, all had problems, all in a period of one year. We now have our Culligan for almost nine months and no problems possession.
Compared to the Pur and Brita tap filter fitted, this filter is compact and out of my way. Do you want five stars if there are some hints for when the filter be replaced.
