Any ideas on what could use to make a rustic, unique shower curtain for my bathroom?
I just redecorated my room very rustic bathroom. (We live in the sticks, as appropriate.) I have painted beige, and all accessories are new or old barnwood branch. Soap dispenser is a jar of age, etc. For me, the better. I'm trying to think of a great idea for a rustic shower curtain. I burlap in another room, so you do not want to use again – any other ideas? Ideally something that could be used in window treatments would be nice, too. I've thrown around the idea of making a quilt Future patches shower curtain, but I'm not sure if that is enough rustic.
Sacks of flour, or feed and grain sacks, sewn with the edges rough sample. You can find them in the sales of goods, auctions, garage sales. Or you can do an image search on one of the best search engines of (as dogpile.com) and find some designs of great antiquity. Or, if you find some old old catalog pages, including covers, Robucks catalogs of Sears, they could be printed and made of iron supplements on a blanket or natural cotton. Good old Sears catalogs, a food basic units of yesteryear!
Good luck: D
