I will say something about hot tubs that the vendor will not tell you. I could not wait for my first bath when we moved into our house 3 years ago. I seldom before they move here. It infections occurs 7-10 days after each swim. After talking with a salesman in the spa shop I learned that apparently is common to have mold and bacteria formed in the jets of oil in the skin. There is no way to dry the jets out to prevent this from happening. The only way to avoid a problem is to fill the tub before to 1 / 2 cup bleach and water and run the jets for about 15 min. 2 problems with that, 1), who has time to do it before each bath, 2) is not enough water hot in my tank to fill the bath once let alone twice. That's the other thing about the tubes, which have 50-60 gallons of water that is no problem for 80 per gallon hot water heater, but most households have a 40 gallon tank. A tankless water heater is the way to go if you have a hot tub. No I'm trying to talk you out of it I thought you would like more information from someone who has one. Make an informed choice!
